Corrections Facilities Committee Purpose: The purpose of a correctional facilities committee is to coordinate the work of individual AA members and groups who are interested in carrying our message of recovery to alcoholics behind the walls, and to set up means of smoothing the way from the facility to the larger AA community through pre-release contacts.
Grapevine Committee Mission: To disseminate Grapevine information to local AA groups, treatment and correctional facilities, and the public and professional communities.

PI/CPC Committee Mission: Carrying information about AA into the community. – Carry the message to professionals who work with or come in contact with alcoholics. – Inform the AA community what PI/CPC is and what activities the PI/CPC committee is performing.
Literature Committee Mission: Carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous with Conference approved pamphlets, books, audio and visual tapes; assist AA members in reaching an informed group conscience by providing guidelines.
Archive Committee Mission: To preserve the AA message and carry it to other alcoholics. To preserve the history of our fellowship to prevent distortion. To cooperate with and support other AA archives and archivists working within AA’s service structure and the 12 Traditions.
Treatment Facilities Committee Mission: To coordinate the work of individual AA members and groups who are interested in carrying our message to alcoholics in settings engaged in alcoholism treatment and other institutions where individuals may have limited access to the message of the program Alcoholics Anonymous.
Newsletter Committee Mission: The mission and purpose for the District Newsletter (known as the 3B/3C District News – News of the Austin Area Alcoholics Anonymous district servants and events) is to communicate district happenings and service opportunities to the groups and individual members.
